A supplementary pellet designed for preparation of bulls from weaning through to sale or show.

Feeding Directions
- Rumevite Bull Developer Pellets are suitable for feeding bulls weighing greater than 120 kg liveweight. Cattle weighing less than 120 kg liveweight should be fed Barastoc Calf Rearer Pellets or Cubes until they reach this weight.
- Before commencement of feeding Rumevite Bull Developer Pellets, ensure that the appropriate animal husbandry procedures are completed – consult a veterinarian for advice. Bulls of similar size and age should be drafted into groups.
- Before commencement of feeding Rumevite Bull Developer Pellets ensure that all bulls have been fed with palatable hay to appetite for the first day.
- Start feeding bulls with Rumevite Bull Developer Pellets at a rate of 0.5 kg per 100 kg liveweight per day. Gradually increase the rate of feeding each day for the next 21 days up to 1.5 kg per 100 kg liveweight per day. i.e. 1.5% of bodyweight.
- Rumevite Bull Developer Pellets can either be fed in troughs or self-feeders.
- When feeding Rumevite Bull Developer Pellets in a self-feeder or trough, ensure that dry pasture, or palatable hay is readily available, and that bulls are able to eat this forage to appetite at all times.
- When using self-feeders, adjust slide settings to regulate feed intake and achieve recommended feeding rates. The feeder slide should be set so that cattle have to lick the feed out from under the slide.
- When feeding in self-feeders, bulls will require 15 – 35 cm of trough space per head.
- When feeding in troughs, bulls will require 30 – 60 cm of trough space per head, depending on their body weight.
